Congrats on the flowering. I’m still wondering if anyone has the real NMC in the USA? It is one of the least productive Lychees in China and may only produce a good crop every 3-5 years for large established trees. It requires a lot of cold stimulus and the reports I’ve read from the experimental station in Hilo indicates it is a very poor producer in warmer climates.

How big is your NMC and how long have you had it in the ground?

It is No Mai Chee 100% in the ground for around 12 years at about 13 feet tall and wide was wider but lost a major limb last year.I grafted it on bengal ,timing of cold seems critical that being said it has only had one very good crop two years ago ,this year not super but Ill take what I can get.Hoping for some salathiel lychee this year still not sure have to look today.

Congratulations on fruiting it Shot. I’ve never tasted Salathiel before but it looks to be a great tasting variety from the video I saw out of Australia.
