I wanted to say check in the Vietnamese areas in Orange County but I realized I don't know any specific place. I've seen sugar apple trees for sale just walking west on Bolsa Ave from Asian Garden Mall in Westminster.

Check with Roger Meyer, Ben Poirier, and Dennis Sharmad. You can get their phone numbers by googling their names.

Ong has quite a few in San Diego that are producing. I remember seeing purple fruit and green fruit over the Summer; no fruit on the trees when I stopped by a couple weeks ago, but trees looked healthy.
