Nice.......mangoes are all in full growth mode this time of year.  That's a great time for all you new planters.  For my old trees it means the trees are getting that much more out of reach.  Enjoy the early stages of growth!

I love seeing them grow. You're right HMH, my Valencia Pride has a lot of new flushes (lost all fruits to powdery mildew), it is around 4.5 feet tall with rounded canopy.
Group pic on 7/23...from left to right, VP, MC, MKS.

I want a khun see cultivar also . I'm jealous  . Been following (i believe SleepDoc's posts )on his multigrafted tree which has a khun see on it along with others. These are fairly large mangoes and i absolutely love the shape of them. Enjoy, good for you and happy growing.
Did they have a larger specimen you could have purchased?
Sleep Doc raves about this cultivar about eating it in 3 stages , green semi-ripe and ripe. All stages delicious. Seems to be a very versatile mango
Sleep Doc if you read this Post what were the bearing habit of your Mun Khun See this year.? BTW is this a poly mango?
Details please

I think they had 3 then and they were all two feet tall. Too small compared to MC. I plan to let MC, MKS, and NDM grow a bit then graft scions of them to my VP (since it is well established of all).

Your TT arrivals look great! Are you planting both?

This year was a fairly low production year for most of my trees.  The Khun See however had fairly high production.  It also had 3 waves of flowering and fruiting, for an extended season of about 4 months.

It should be poly, but I have never opened up a seed.

I have the MC planted already. I will keep the MKS in the pot until there is no growth going on. I read not to plant them while in active growth phase, is that even true?

Lost my mun kun si a while back. My other trees are doing really well. My VP had 3 spurts of flowers this year, so I have fruits in 3 different sizes.

Can someone with Mun Kun Si growing experience tell me if the "very late" season advertised by Top Tropicals on the description of this mango is true?  Top Tropicals advertises this variety as being able to remain on the tree sometimes til January. Has anyone experienced this? My Mun Kun Si set some fruit for the first time this year and I was wondering how long I can expect them to remain on the tree.

Thanks!

Mine have never made it anywhere near January.  It can set in multiple waves which is nice.

Sleepdoc can verify: anyone with one of these is an instant friend of mine....great fruit with unique character.  I did not realize Mun was part of the name.  What is its origin?
