The fruit vary considerably in quality. If you are to invest in a large tree make sure you plant seeds from a low fiber, good flavored and thickly fleshed fruit at least 1 lb in weight.

Ill have some Chupa Chupa seeds in about 3 weeks

It's the dulce variety from Frankie's nursery
Wanna trade..what's the best way to clean them for shipping...as they have some hairs clinging to the seed

Yes recalcitrant. So buying from Germany means they are probably  : KAPUT.

The best matisias I have tasted had lots of fibre, which I don't mind, while fibre free (and biggest) ones were bland... I thnik it's time to visit the Amazon again  ::)

Felipe I found that those with deep orange flesh, smaller seeds and lower fiber also have the richer taste.

Some smaller types do taste good as well.

Last season I did however stumble across 2 vary small types shown here that had a great taste and quite different from each other.I think the deeper orange ones at perfect ripeness are better flavored than yellower fleshed types.

I didnt realize that Jesse Blenn was selling them on ebay. I have had good experience buy from him, he really knows how to pack his stuff.

That said, I would still like to get seeds from anyone who thinks there are particularly good
