Hi vitor! All the seeds arrive in perfect conditions and very fast! They are all sprouting, even the eugenia longiracemosa. Thank you so much, Luis.  ;)

Thanks for the links Luis. It's not easy to find information about some of these "new" rare species.

Yes Tomas it's interesting... in one of them we can see that eugenia longiracemosa has some cold standing eugenias as habitat companions like eugenia patriisi...  ;D

Hi Luis.
Unfortunately there is no information about E. longiracemosa available on the internet. It is a rare and restricted distribution species in the Amazon region. In the next season I'll take more pictures of fruits (if the plant produce), and I shoot photos of branches and flowers to send to you guys. The plant is generally very high, only escalating plant to get good material.
Unfortunately, the Amazon region is not very rich in Myrtaceas, but there are some interesting Eugenias. The most common are patrisii and stipitata.
I hope all your seeds grow.
Best regards,

Vitor

Hi friends.
A new species was added (few seeds available) - Ambelania acida
I added a new picture to Pouteria laevigata, as I said in the Post is very difficult to get a photograph of an isolated plant, is generally only possible to view the trunk, very difficult to visualize the entire plant. I believe to be interesting for everyone to have a dimension of the size and beauty of this species, I hope everyone can enjoy the photo of a very rare species. Fortunately or unfortunately a very large tree next Pouteria, fell with the wind and dropped the nearby trees, which made it possible to photograph the plant Pouteria.
Best regards,

Vitor

Hi friend.
Yes some species of Inga are found in the region.
I have few seeds available Inga gracilifolia, but are all germinated.
In the next season I will collect seeds of species of Inga, especially the rarest. But it will depend on fructification.
Best regards,

Vitor

Thanks

Hi friends.
I'm glad the seeds are germinating. Notify about the evolution of seedlings.
About Cassia leiandra is fruiting period, I believe it will be possible to get seeds.
Unfortunately the period is now very weak fruiting, only a few species of waterlogged areas.
Best regards,

Vitor

Hi friend.
The great difficulty is in Cassia leiandra difficult germination and slow seedling growth. How is a species that usually occurs in flooded areas, the seedlings have better development in little drained substrate (soggy), in nature many times seedlings survive several months completely covered by water.
Best regards,

Vitor
