Well as stated earlier Zill has one that he doesnt intend to share so yes it definitely exists. Apart from that one though there are no official trees out there. However given its shown to be poly its possible to grow a clone, just have to keep all plants until fruiting. Theres also the remote  possibility someone obtained budwood on the sly but I guarantee they won't be mentioning it anywhere in front of Rob 😁.

Fruit is available but please share where the trees have ever been mase availableor sold. I suppose you could pay top dollar to get one from TT but all you would wind up with is a Lemon Zest.

I think Behl did not read the post about the broken "OS" tree and just read the title. Lol.

I did read the post of broken OS/LZ and you can make fun all you want, at the end of the day most forum members do know that OS exist, some have eaten fruits, some have acknowledged growing from budwood and some growing from seed. I did not ask for wood as I know its not released, I asked Rob about its existence which it is a mystery to why its existence is being continually denied. that's all.

Nobidy is denying its existence.  The emphatic denial is that its not being propagated for sale nor have propagated ttees been sold.  Yes, the fruit is sold but the trees it comes off of are private and no budwood is being or can be shared.  None of the supposed OS coming out of TT arr OS.  That story has been explained numerous times.  There are reasons that it is nit being propagated and sold.  Some know the reason and to go beyond that, I will not divulge.

If you want to try and grow from seed to get the real thing, you are open to do so.

I think I've had OS fruit almost every year. Not that hard to come by. Since the seeds are poly, if I wanted to I could have grown my own OS tree. I don't think it's better than LZ so I've never bothered.

Just curious, is beefy still on the forum and if so, whatever happened to his tree?
The original spat was a couple of years ago, the tree should have had some fruit now, would like to know what it was.

Yes, these were the varieties of mango fruit sold by Walter Zill at one point (some have been removed for certain reasons).  This does not have any bearing on what trees are available.

There is no dispute that many/most to all of the experimental fruit have been sold by Walter and Gary Zill (through various places) but in no way does that mean the trees were ever available for sale or ever will be for sale.  A number of the members on this forum have been eating these "unknowns" for upwards of close to 10 years.

Shape does not look right at all.  OS was not a budsport of LZ or PPK, it was from a seedling of PPK.

I don't think what you have is a bud sport. I think it's simply a phenotypical difference based on the environmental conditions.

A few years ago in Australia, the government went around the country and collected what they thought were many different variations of Kensington Pride. They took all of these different selections and planted them all in one location. Once they started to fruit, they all were the exact same KP. I think that is what you're experiencing.

I think you should really hold back on the constant re-naming of your "new varieties" and "bud sports". Why don't you plant some monoembryonic seeds and name the resulting tree instead of constantly trying to re-name other peoples varieties?
