What is a good and acurate ph meter for testing the soil ph?

I use pool test strips, they are dirt cheap

Hanna Instruments.  I have used others while working in both greenhouses and the field, but their portable water proof meters are hands down the best.

I know Hanna testers but theyre too expensive .
How do you test the soil with that Hanna waterproof ph meter?I ask because i have a chinese non waterproof but does the same thing like Hanna.Beware that the bulbs are consumable . A cheap chinese ph meter that has a bulb wich you can stick directly in the soil would be a nice tool.

Thats a reasonable method but i dont like that i have to dilute the soil with too much water.I would like to measure the soil ph directly like with those electric green ph meters but acurate .Green ph meters arent acurate.
