Have a yellow jabo that is about a foot and a tad tall and it has flowers coming on one of the branches. Currently a week or so away from winter, plants are workin in reverse here gettin ready for flowerin in winter. How big do yellow jabs normally get before flowering?

I have two, one about 3' tall the other 5' tall. The largest one flowered profusely this past winter set one fruit whi h fell off b4 maturing. The smaller one has not flowered.

Bear in mind this is in Florida and habits may be different where you are. Hopefully Adam will chime in with his morw substantial experiences.
Regards,

Must be the odd weather this year

Yellow jab, about 2 foot, only has 3 branches.

Black e.uniflora

E.stipitata

Another weird one is my lucs garcinia. It flushed, the new growth hasn't fully hardened off yet, and now its pushing new growth again.

Mine have all flowered at a bit over a foot tall. Hold a few fruit at 2ft. A few are in flower now.

Cheers everyone. Yeah Rob my garcinias are all pushing new growth aswell. Pitanga has open flowers again this morning, pitangatuba still flowering and pushing growth, stipitata new growth and flowers, candolleanas are up to about their 7th flowering this year and heaps of others still pushing growth. Reckon I got down to about 6 Celsius this morning.
