Title: Information on OTMO mango
Post by: RichardN on February 13, 2018, 04:42:53 AM
I just recently picked up a tree from Excalibur and noticed a faded letter OTMO on the side of the container.
Anyone have information on this variety would be greatly appreciated..

I had a tree from them Labelled “OTM”. Based on foliage I speculated it to be “Okrung Tong”. Didn’t fruit while I had it.

Unless it was sold to you as "Otmo", wouldn't assume that is what it is. Nurseries and other sellers often re-use pots. I bought an m. casturi that has a few other mango varieties named on the side. Have noticed this with quite a few other plants.

It could have been OTMO.. The name was somewhat faded out. It was a old grafted tree setting in the back.
