I’ve been distributing “Inca Red” scion since 2015 at least so other tff members may have fruited it.
I scoured my records and Unfortunately could not find out who I got this from originally.
I haven’t fruited it myself so time will tell how good a fruit it really is by hearing tasting accounts from a few different tree’s.

Its a forum. Opinions are expressed. I can ask questions of the product your selling. My opinion is not any more narrow or ridiculous than your never before grown outside of COLOMBIA Lulo.

I think your best off buying seed directly from the growers on this site or elsewhere and avoid seed middlemen that operate in a temperate climate often selling and storing short term viable sub-tropical and tropical seeds. A forum search will pull up lots of experiences with the seed biz’s.

Surfing sucks, dont do it. Also Mango’s, way too fiberous to eat, can have a toxic rash allergy, don’t do it!

Cleft graft em , they’re not too thick at all. They’ll push hard with big scion and established roots. Use a longer scion than you might normally so more nodes can push and start establishing tree shape quickly.

Phitrantha Branca leaves are fatter and rounder by the stem than Aureana.
Theres BRanca Mel too, Branca just means white
I have Reds from 5+ different sources and the diversity is pretty astounding , I agree so many possible hybrids. More are coming into fruition so time to compare frootz.
Pretty sure Escalate is Red x White.
White is definitely a parent of Red but is the other parent Sabara? Good question. I kinda doubt it with the precociousness of Red and the slow to fruit White and Sabara.

I think Branca Vinho is different from Branca. Branca Vinho may be the same as Branca Vinho Jumbo, which may be the same as Jumbo. The Brazilian fruits book says Jumbo is a selection of the Zona da Mata matrix, whatever that means. Zona da Mata is an aureana variety, but also a region in Brazil. Phitrantha Branca looks an awful lot like Aureana to me, but I've only seen pictures.

Yes I prefer scissors ,but grinder is there for color contrast and because it was just right there. Haha

You can graft onto Soursop if that grows better for you.
