From the same sellers in Africa that the seller got the seeds from?
Maybe its forest house cameroon, can’t remember.
They’ve been offered and sold on the forum before.
I just saying list your price that you want to sell for because that is how the buy/sell board rolls.

100000 dollars and don't forget 500 for shipping ;D . I mean where else can you buy these???

902
Sweet, so what are you selling them for?

903
Got to list the prices though.

Respect Andre, its a big hassle and expensive to ship seeds out of Brazil.
There is a reason non of the other Brazillian sellers are shipping, its not worth the costs and lack of understanding of the current situation from buyers . Thanks for collecting and propagating these species and doing your best to share them around with others.

I need to top these 2 aggressive “Casimiroa Edulis” White Sapote varieties and will have lots of scion.
10 scions of each for $25 plus $6 shipping minimum
50 Walton or Lemon Gold $50 including shipping

906
Dadloring, could cut a few. Is spring better though, your grafting in BC right now?

907
I’ll post a picture of the next grafted Grimal available, when it’s available.

908
Thanks Patrick. Your welcome.

Some meta irie vibes your putting out there taking your time to share your cuttings with folks!
Thanks for giving!

Thanks Norm. That makes sense, Axel lived in Santa Cruz in the past and I did my first grafts at his place.
Too bad the Cloudforestcafe.com & 10+ years of data and info compiled is no longer a searchable resource for sub tropical fruit growers.

I’ve been distributing “Inca Red” scion since 2015 at least so other tff members may have fruited it.
I scoured my records and Unfortunately could not find out who I got this from originally.
I haven’t fruited it myself so time will tell how good a fruit it really is by hearing tasting accounts from a few different tree’s.

912
Wow man , what a great website ! I love all the pictures and rare fruit descriptions.
Some great plants you have available now!

913
Its a forum. Opinions are expressed. I can ask questions of the product your selling. My opinion is not any more narrow or ridiculous than your never before grown outside of COLOMBIA Lulo.

914
What makes this seedling highly desireable, when it is thorny type, seems contradiction in terms.
How does the amount of meaty flesh or size of the fruit Or flavor outweigh the downside of the spines?
In general I think people would choose the not spiny plant if given the choice.

I think your best off buying seed directly from the growers on this site or elsewhere and avoid seed middlemen that operate in a temperate climate often selling and storing short term viable sub-tropical and tropical seeds. A forum search will pull up lots of experiences with the seed biz’s.

Cherimoya dehydrated was horrible
Anybody dehydrate annonas?

Surfing sucks, dont do it. Also Mango’s, way too fiberous to eat, can have a toxic rash allergy, don’t do it!

Google says it can take into the 20's. So why dont I ever hear of people growing it here? Does it not fruit? Does it taste bad?

I think most of it is poisonous and you have to prepare it correctly. Also it’s not delicious apparently. According to google it tastes like cream cheese

Well the Zill’s and their farming projects are in Florida so they did not have to travel far.

Cleft graft em , they’re not too thick at all. They’ll push hard with big scion and established roots. Use a longer scion than you might normally so more nodes can push and start establishing tree shape quickly.

Phitrantha Branca leaves are fatter and rounder by the stem than Aureana.
Theres BRanca Mel too, Branca just means white
I have Reds from 5+ different sources and the diversity is pretty astounding , I agree so many possible hybrids. More are coming into fruition so time to compare frootz.
Pretty sure Escalate is Red x White.
White is definitely a parent of Red but is the other parent Sabara? Good question. I kinda doubt it with the precociousness of Red and the slow to fruit White and Sabara.

Some of these don't come true to seed as well. Adam has four Sapucaia seedlings that each look completely different. The "Sanford phitrantha" is a seedling of aureana, as is the "suspected AxP" being sold for big bucks on eBay. Many people have reported getting what appear to be phitranthas with red fruit from aureana seeds.

I think Branca Vinho is different from Branca. Branca Vinho may be the same as Branca Vinho Jumbo, which may be the same as Jumbo. The Brazilian fruits book says Jumbo is a selection of the Zona da Mata matrix, whatever that means. Zona da Mata is an aureana variety, but also a region in Brazil. Phitrantha Branca looks an awful lot like Aureana to me, but I've only seen pictures.

Red jaboticabas come up weird sometimes too. I'm suspicious of these supposed red x ____ hybrids.

People claim red is sabara x aureana. Is there any evidence for this? Any evidence that escarlate is red x aureana? Any evidence that sabara can even produce hybrids?

Yes , 3/8” and larger rootstock, hardened off and actively flushing is good for grafting.

They are pretty easy to graft.
