nice! is reed pretty slow growing?  I got mine planted in a flower bed and it's been growing pretty slow what's a good fertilizer regiment for them?

how did it withstand the winds?

if you want two plants you can probably try grafting but I would wait for it to get warmer

home depot in stanton had some but it's labeled knight cherimoya you can also talk to the nursery manager to special order if your local home depot don't have it

dang gotta do alot to an already expensive mix :/

I usually wait until fruit is pea size to prune or when weather warms up whatever comes first and usually 2 sets of leaves back

on young trees blooming, do you prune as soon as you see the panicle or wait for something else until you prune? do you tip prune only the panicle of also further back?

they start out dark red then lighten up to light pink with a lil yellow then goes blood red......beautiful color

My parfiankas are pink right now. I hope they're not fakes or mislabeled palnts.

Does the fruit start out as pink colored and gradually turn blood red like yours?

Ive grown tons of jabo seedlings and i still prefer to have them in a pretty well draining mix that i will water everyday or every other day. They don't seem to like mucky, wet soil-  yes, they love water but they do need to breathe. Some sun exposure is recommended as well.

kool will try to add some perlite to the mix....I did mostly fine bark, moss, coco coir and rockdust ....mango and cherimoya seedlings loved it but no love from jabo

Probably too wet. It looks like the new growth just keeps dying back. Maybe let it dry out a bit and place a cover over it to keep humidity up and stop watering until it really needs it. Keep in indirect light.

that's what I thought too. so I put one out  to dry for about a month. it still doesn't work. I think I have to put them where there is a lil more sun.
