I want to know if I can grow Navaho blackberries or kiwi in zone 10b? Thanks, everybody!
Sweet potatoes are easy to grow in South Florida ,but doing so with out bugs eating holes in them...seems difficult...
I enjoyed Buttercream WAY more than M4. (Though I’m only going off of one tasting evaluation). Agree with SweetTart. & Fruit Punch is good... but I’ve found some more of the newer varieties that I enjoyed most this year like ButterCream, Him Sagar, & Guava.
What made u said that u rnjoyed buttercream more than m4?
When Ordering Kauai White Sugarloaf Pineapple from Jude.... on the order page there is a spot you can leave a message before placing an order..... if you plan to grow from the crown you need to leave a note saying for them to not break the crowns cause you plan to grow them. when she goes out she will look for pineapples that are ripe and have smaller crowns on them so they will fit in the shipping box. they mite be a little bent but should still grow great
she does ship them in small boxes to save on shipping cost i would guess
You can always place an order with Jude and get a fruit and a top...
The coconut flavor was pretty pronounced. My wife also immediately said coconut. Also a mild indian flavor in the background and some sweet/tartness. Seed is very large mono.
Im no mango expert but this was one of the better ones I've tried.
This post is 100% spot on! & To be quite honest it blew the OS out of the water for a well rounded mango- (complex taste, shelf life, & size). Tried the OS a little over ripe in all fairness but even still 36-8 seems like it’ll be more desirable in certain aspects.. I think it’s a keeper, anyone know how resistant it is to diseases?
Zill 80 is parent, which is from Kent...probably not good. What I have seen in past years was a short shelf life and dirty fruit. Not sure how it would stand up in ciastal areas but I have my doubts...
Again , its not released so the anticipation of planting one should be shelved for now.

Waren, I called Zills (nursery, not fruit stand) and they have boat load of these for sale to evaluate at $2/lb.
Thanks for the video. has anyone else tried this?
the one I had was not watery, not sure why anyone would say "watery" to a mango, it should be called Juicy, no?
When you were at ZHPP, did anyone happen to say whether they would have any Cotton Candy mangos available anytime soon??? That's one fruit I'd like to taste!
anyone had a chance to record?
Bump for tonight in Davie.
Please record this if possible.
I live about 5 miles as the crow flies from the ocean between US1 and I95. Just came from a mango tasting at Pinders Nursery and loved the Coconut Cream, Cogshall and Maha Chanok.many varieties were not represented. So I like sweet mango flavor, tried Springfeld, ugh, too spicey, not sweet. Since I am wanting a small tree my choices are limited..
