The member fruitlovers sells these. I think he even has them and in stock! I'm ordering some from him this spring after all the coolest weather passes.

Thanks! Oscar is a good source.  I have had success with fruit lovers in the past.  I just bought some from him but looking for multiple sources and really hoping for some plants!

Good luck with finding plants.  I think many members, especially us in Florida, would love to have the chance of just buying a plant.  KIT, if you find some.

These things have been the toughest garcinia for me to grow for some reason. I tried two batches of seeds and had good germination but they always seemed to die off a few weeks after sprouting.

I have not had any luck either. I believe I have gotten seeds 3 times before, probably 50 seeds in total, and only a single seed pushed a stalk but never formed leaves.  However, one of those times, handouts at the tropical fruit conference, the seeds were definitely old and Jim West did not have confidence they would sprout.  I was able to score two tiny seedlings a month ago. Hopefully I can keep them alive and maybe get them to grow.  I have had a few garcinias in 3 and 7 gal pots suddenly collapse and die in winter and spring, probably from lack of humidity or shelter from the dry winds.
