I have not had any luck either. I believe I have gotten seeds 3 times before, probably 50 seeds in total, and only a single seed pushed a stalk but never formed leaves. However, one of those times, handouts at the tropical fruit conference, the seeds were definitely old and Jim West did not have confidence they would sprout. I was able to score two tiny seedlings a month ago. Hopefully I can keep them alive and maybe get them to grow. I have had a few garcinias in 3 and 7 gal pots suddenly collapse and die in winter and spring, probably from lack of humidity or shelter from the dry winds.
