Hello friends,

Here pictures of my tree of Pradosia Lactecens, local name Buranhem is a tree of the family of Sapotaceae, this exemplar is native on my farm, very old, has over 70 years of age, the flowers are cauliflora, purple color, aromatic, the fruits have little pulp, and taste similar to abiu a sweetened milk flavor.
In use the tree of latex as medicine and make a compote with the shells.

How interesting! What big, beautiful old trees! Thank you so much for sharing! :)

I would love to see people share native trees from every part of the world in this forum, through threads like this one. It is wonderful to learn about new things you have never seen before, and also to see a tree in its native habitat.

Thank you, your idea is very good, post pictures of wild trees, uncultivated.

This week I'll collect the seeds to make new seedlings and replant more this tree, because in my region remains only 8 trees of Pradosia, I know the location.

I had an opportunity to eat some fruits of this species and I liked it a lot. No so much flesh but sweet and nice taste. This species generally produces much more fruit than the quantity shown in the photos of that occasion. When under full load fruiting, the ornamental aspect of the tree is fantastic!
