It might be what the locals call 'Milky Guava' , I hope I translate this right. I lived in Indonesia for 18 years and in Taiwan for 12 years.
Taiwan has the best guava, because their farmers are so diligent and innovative to try creating new superior quality.
For example, if Thailand has a new variety which is big and crunchy but not sweet, Taiwanese farmers will crossbreed this with ones that has sweet taste to create superior ones.
