All my Grumichama fruits have the remains of the flower attached to the non-stem end. Doesn't look like they removed them for a prettier picture, so guessing not grumichama fruits.

there's only two explanations, both of which are unfavorable...

1) they don't know the difference between Garcinia fruits, and Eugenia fruits.

or

2) lacking an example of an actual yellow Grumichama, they made a cheeky attempt to pass off a fruit that superficially looks similar, known as Garcinia brasiliensis "Lemon Drop Mangosteen".

lol they even included a stem from the Garcinia in the photo....which of course doesn't have bark that exfoliates like Grumichama.

Maybe it's a new grumichama lemon drop mangosteen hybrid?

The leaves look like grumichama but the fruits arent attached to the same stems as the leaves it looks like.

That place has some swanky lychee trees though.  Wish I could buy all those types they sell.

I have raised that issue before (http://tropicalfruitforum.com/index.php?topic=18788.msg240037#msg240037) and thought it was odd that there were no calyxes. Looking at the stem that they mixed in with grumichama foliage, it's clear that it's a Garcinia.

But Daleys are a good nursery. Ordered many items from them. They were just taking a short-cut with the photo. Anyway I ordered an orange grumichama from them 2 years ago, though it still has not fruited.

That's pretty funny. I think their main problem is in their lack of a photo department. At one point they contacted me asking me for some of my fruit photos. When i told them i charge for my photos that was the end of their request.  ;D

Australia was in the world cup, but they scored at the bottom of their group and did not progress to group of 16.

They do sell orange fruited grumichamas and Garcinia brasiliensis. Obviously some Einstein made an error. Soccer will never be a in the top two football codes here as simulation is frowned on and it is the key skill needed. There was more action in the grandstand than on the pitch at the World Cup.

If it was an error, and not intentional, then it was beyond egregious...because the fruits are still attached to the caulis, everyone knows grumichamas fruit only at branch tips...

Zands started this derail. Excuse me for continuing it one moment longer.
At least Australia qualified for the world cup, USA team was ever more pathetic and did not even qualify. Yet the USA get to host the world cup in 2026? Money talks.

Well, I think that one is indeed Pitomba... just the wrong pitomba (Talisia esculenta) instead of (Eugenia luschnathiana).
