My pulasan/rambutan NEVER look healthy, why?

I've killed more than I care to remember. Seems like good growth initially, but eventually the leaves all became like this, and the little tree just withered away and died.  :(

Being in CA I would imagine they stuggle with too little humidity

That's what I was afraid of, I guess I'll give up on these. I just moved my 2 pulasans into the indoor greenhouse, if they don't get better after winter, I'll throw 'em away. Interestingly, the guanabana (also a high humidity lover) is thriving. Thanks,

Pulasans and Rambutans require year-round high humidity to look healthy. Even in South Florida, we are not humid long enough.
