Wide petiole at that also. If it maintains that petiole throughout it's probably some ichang lemon, or yuzu, some sort of papeda.

Always exciting to grow from seed and watch it turn out.

all of woodlanders citrus is seedling unfortunately. so with some varieties hardiness may be altered due to variation, especially ichang papeda.

I've seen that number for Marumi, but man it seems too good to be true. Have you grown it yourself and had that kind of hardiness?
I can't prove it's hardiness for itself, but I purchased it recently and will find out if its true or not. But what I've seen appears to be convincing.

Meiwa did not fare well in a coastal South Carolina trial.  It is probably less hardy than other kumquats.

Try Marumi kumquat. 10F

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Moving to Panama
« on: March 08, 2024, 04:41:47 AM »
I assume I am a bit late, but from what I've gathered, importing plant material can be quite a process due to strict regulations aimed at protecting local agriculture and ecosystems. It's definitely worth looking into Panama's specific requirements on importing fruit plants to ensure you comply with all regulations.

As for growing Durian, Panama's tropical climate might be suitable, but it's essential to check local agricultural zones and possibly connect with local growers for the best advice.

When it came to actually moving, I had a good experience using Three Movers. They were super helpful in sorting out the logistics, which could be especially tricky if you're thinking about bringing plant material along. Definitely worth checking out for a smoother move to Panama.

Keep an eye out at woodlanders nursery. They’ve sold MIC in the past and also SanCitChang previously. You could contact them if it’s not on site if they have plans on propagating them in the future.

BANPEIYU PUMMELO is available now at the CCPP website.

13
US-1281 is available at the CCPP as budwood.

14
Glauca x Poncirus doesn't exist to my knowledge. Only hybrid I know that is like that is Citrangeremo (citrange and glauca cross).

15
US 1281, a 100% zygotic rootstock is available at CCPP.

16
Don't know if that seller is reputable or not, hopefully someone from eu could chime in

18
