Got these sent to me from the Cape by a very awesome guy I digitally met. He grows them on his farm.
710grams and 820grams
So they are still firm like an unripe avocado do they get softer too or do you cut it still firm?

They will get softer. Once they start to give in some to the touch like a ripe pineapple should be ready.

Also the stem tends to shrink and come off, although that could just be drying. Nice to see it grown in SA.
