Nice fruit. If you're looking for a large fruiting variety, try Dr White. I had one over three pounds, not from my tree. My biggest dr white was 2-3 lbs. let us know how it tastes.

How many people attended? How many varieties?

The West LA CRFG made this their meeting but I'm not that big a fan of persimmons to go. Hope you had a great time!

Fyliu: the said that the event was still a go as of now so hopefully it stays that way. There was a good amount of people, probably around 40 or so around 10:30 when I arrived and there were more trickling in. I didn't stay long, just tasted the 14 or so varieties and left. Persimmons, especially the crunchy ones which they were sampling all tend to taste the same but I'm glad I went
