That what you have , specially in second  pot is guava. I do not seen any carambola tree. I have both these trees in my garden

The pots need to be bigger. They can fruit though in containers. My guavas are in pots. :)

Plant these in a different pot right away! These plants look horribly root bound, meaning that there is too much root density in that pot, causing the roots to be deformed.

Both look large enough to fruit. Pot them in large pots, but the roots may need pruning, and at least teasing or loosening.

My Carambola is just a tad shorter than that one
and i had 2 fruits last fall
i would absolutely put them in larger containers.

in a few months with a lot of sun, you will probably get a ton of flowers
personally, i would thin it out at that time, so you only get a few fruit
for the first year at least, so the plant can put most of its energy into growing.

i'm back..i repotted them in 37cm diameter pot, there was not so much root density because the old pot was laying directly on the soil so root exit from the pot and grew outside...So ,I really hope to get some fruit this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ;D

 8) Molto buono.

Give it a little organic fertilizer for fruiting. That will make your guavas pop. Mine don't fruit without fertilizer. I like organic, because it's slow release. I don't like to use non organic unless it's recovered from transplant.

Monitor closely as it is not customarily recommended to use potting mixes with any type of incorporated fertilizer.   It can burn the roots.  Its always better to top dress with fertilizer or spply liquid via spray and/or drench.

I hope will be all ok, past year i used the same pellet for peppers in pot... No strange behavior happened :)
