Olosapo and musk cucumber seeds. How to plant or germinate them

Ho there!

I just got olosapo and musk cucumber (sicana odorifera) seeds.
I saw videos where seeds are germinated in damp towels or planted directly.
What's the better option, and is there anything I should take care of with the seeds?

I germinate olosapo seeds in my soil potting mix, on their sides pushed half way into the medium.  I keep them moist.
