Title: Does this look like an allspice tree?
Post by: Organic Cavalry on October 17, 2019, 12:12:47 PM
Trying to identify this tree... It was near death when I moved in 3 years ago... I dont have pics of the flowers but not a magnolia I'm pretty sure. Zone 9b California Thanks for looking.

Pretty sure that is not allspice. My tree has large long leaves, elongated oval that come to a point. When crushed, the leaves smell sweetly of allspice.
