yep, i noticed that 5pm is no longer that dark anymore. It is getting brighter.

Dead...yes. Was a Philippine mango cut way back for top working. Killed unintentionally. But never gave great yields so no big loss.

8 days in to Winter, and we are talking about Spring is near. A bunch of my mango trees are blooming.

Nutty. Didn't realize you could kill a mango tree by cutting it back.

was out at 6am this morning in the backyard to burn some woods to keep it warm, and I saw frost on the cushion seat that's out in the open.

Winter really just hit us here on Central Coast of California (Arroyo Grande) was 30F yesterday morning and 30F right now which is OK better than 26F for many hours of duration. This cold is supposed to pass now and get warmer. This cold was only for a couple hours duration, some tip's on avocado's got hit was all!!
What we need out here is Rain!!!!!

The next four weeks are the coldest of the winter. We can use a wet January/February....I love the first pix Zands!

I just bought my Pickering mango a few month ago and it's already blooming.  I'm sure I will have to prune any fruit that develops so the tree can grow stronger, but it's just so cool it's blooming already!
