« on: October 17, 2014, 02:20:24 AM »
Broward college has a bunch of old trees on campus of sapodilla, ginep, avocados, bananas, etc. and I learned there was a breadfruit somewhere on campus, are either of these breadfruit trees?

Thanks, didn't know what it was, but the other tree kind of looks like a breadfruit, what is it?

Go to google and search under breadfruit images to see what breadfruit leaves really look like. Nothing like any of your photos.

Exactly. Das Bhut, why in the world would you not simply just Google "breadfruit tree" and see thousands of pictures of breadfruit trees?

Monstera delicioso is sometimes referred to as mexican breadfruit.  This may be causing the confusion.  Not an artocarpus though.  Just a similar common name.

... the last picture isn't a Monstera. It's a Philodendron similar to Philodendron undulatum.

Yeah, monstera leaves are full of slits and holes.
