I bought one of the seedling from exotica couple months ago, they where in pretty poor soil(to many uncomposted woodchips) and the cold so it was barley growing put it a 2gallon pot of good soil and a unheated green house and it growing nicely. heres a pic of it just planted it to a 45 gallon container
I got 4 bushes and they have never really set fruit from the first spring flush but later in the year they set a lot of fruit. I guess its the cold but I do get fruit in the winter from fall flowering so I don't know

looking for some of the good variety dragon fruit plants in san diego some of the named varietys lady at elk creek was out and i guest mattslandscape is closed
i think you have it right in your picture, the white faces away and the black towards the inside. on the fabric pots they make the white faces to the outside
have 1 loquat tree grown from seed by the time it fruited i had to use a ladder to get the fruit lol (about 6-7 years) they are alot more vigorous than the grafted ones
Thanks , I’ll check the Walter Anderson by old town is closer to my house I think they have a a lot smaller fruit section though I might hit u up later if I don’t find anything around here
loquat they grow pretty fast especially the seedling ones some of the grafted varieties are really good, one of my favorite fruit i dont think people would eat them either
