mystery Indian dried fruit
« on: August 25, 2013, 03:08:16 PM »
Hi,

I got a bag of these dried fruits from India yesterday. They are called Prasadam fruits. I looked that up and it's not really the name of the fruit, but it's a word with spiritual meaning. I would really like to know what fruit it is. They are sweet and nice to chew on. They tasted a little like a sweet raisin. The seconds picture is of the seeds inside.

That seed looks like a date. Perhaps a palm? They do look to me like a palm fruit.
