Hi, newb here (to the forum and gardening in general).
I impulsively bought this Wax Jambu last week. Got tempted because of all the flowers on there and loved the fruit when I had it traveling to Vietnam. A few of the flowers bloomed today which prompted me to take a closer look at the tree at which point I noticed that there's quite a few flowers on this one branch (see pic) that doesn't appear will support more than 1 or 2 fruits. My question is, do I need to thin out the flowers to prevent the branch from snapping?
Also, I have this gut feeling that I need to transplant this tree soon to the ground because it looks too big for the pot (3 gallons). I'm hesitant to do it now because I've read that this shouldn't be done in the summer. It's in the 90's during the day. Any suggestions?
One last thing, I did some research and realized there's a bunch of different varieties of this plant. Can anyone tell which variety this is by looking at the picture? Thanks.
