Hi there
found some fruit on the market here in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) and i think they might be
Bromelia pinguin
. Fruits are easy to peel - crunchy like a cucumber, aromatic and acidic with hints of green appel, banana and
ananas
. Ate two of them and found the acid somewhat pungent.
They might make a nice fruit punch ...
Is anybody familiar with that fruit and therefore able to confirm/refute my preliminary ID?
