I was thinking of ordering some budwood from the CCPP, I plan on getting NZ Lemonade and a true lemon to graft on my main tree, but I'm unsure if I should get a Spanish or Italian variety or just get another Eureka/Lisbon. Has anyone compared the fruit? I've heard the only difference is the oil content in the peel.

And if a lemon is a lemon regardless of the variety, do variegated pink Eureka lemons taste like regular yellow Eureka? I have a small grafted one but this is it's first year flowering and I have never tasted it.

^^^^ title.

I've noticed some people selling cuttings to a variety called "Edgar" but when I google it the only info that comes up is for "Edgar's Baby", I know EB is from Ed Valdivia and is available through most venders that sell tc's but was wondering if it is the same as Edgar or if they are in fact different varieties with similar names.

Is it at cold sensitive as the yellow dragon fruit? I was thinking of getting some cuttings and growing it but am not sure if it's doable or worth growing in zone 9b. Is there anybody here with experience growing it in the Bay Area?
