how do you clean cupuazu seeds?

hi, I just have these seeds but the pulp is so attached to the seed... can I plant them as this? or should I clean them? how?

To aprovechar the pulp it is usually cut off with scissors.
We plant the seeds of cupuasu and all other cacao/Herrania sp. with the pulp intact, uncleaned.  Works fine for us.
