What can you tell us about A. globiflora?
I wish I could tell you more...but here is what I know:
the tree doesn't get huge, I believe it can easily be fruited in a pot for many years. Probably enjoys a neutral to alkaline pH, with good drainage.
I'm sure it can tolerate a freeze, but I'm not sure of the minimum kill temperature.
the fruits are small, about the size of a golf ball at best...they look just like a mini-guanabana.
the aroma is strong and sweet...much like a guanabana...the pulp is very succulent, and has a flavor that reminds me of guanabana, and monstera deliciosa (the flavor will appeal to an open minded fruit collector, but will be sure to scare off some of the less adventurous fruit eaters). Also, the seeds are not very numerous....so there is plenty of pulp to eat, even though the fruits aren't large.
