I ordered a Luc's Garcinia from Mr. Shafron and I got to tell you it was a great experience! I am not used to having plants shipped but Adam made it an easy and great transaction. He answered all my stupid questions and made sure the plant arrvived safely. I hope Flyingfoxfruits nursery stays around for a long time to come.

any loquat scions for sale yet adam?

yes I can sell a limited amount of loquat scions now...Have Peluche, and possibly some Avri.

Hopefully later I can get some Tori and Aiden....(the mother trees are very tall, and difficult to take scions from, or I would have got some already....I didn't feel like climbing the trees!)

send me an email or PM, and I can give you more info.

thanks for being patient!

My rootstocks lost their patience and stopped flushing. I Had been waiting on the Tori and Aiden the last few months based off your description and presumed availability. Do you have these grafted for future availability or is it a go climb mother tree for scion thing?

limoncillo is luc's?

yes...the accepted botanical name around here is G. vleerackerii  ;D

I just checked on my last seedling for sale...it's slightly smaller than I remember...so the price is actually $40.

if you are serious about fruiting this garcinia before the next guy, this is the last chance to get a plant that was sprouted 2-3 winters ago....it would be a nice headstart, because these grow slow!

Hi Adam. I want lucs garcinia if yo still have it. I tried to pm you twice but it's not showing up on my sent messages so I'm not sure you got it. I'm also having trouble with AOL mail. It won't load new mail.

Wow impressive selection. If you might ever be interested in trades I'm always open for it!

For my site I use Woocommerce for Wordpress, key to all the variations in most the pages. Could be a good fit for your site.

have a few 7 gal yellow grumichamas (about 5-6ft tall, with fruits and flowers on them now) for sale, $60 each.

These are for local pick up only!

I picked out the last ones that Mike had at Treesnmore...his grumichamas are some of the best I've tasted, especially the yellow, which is much harder to find!  I guess it's a recessive trait...only about 5-10% of his trees seemed to be yellow fruited.

I've just gotta say that my experience with Flying Fox Fruit's Nursery has been outstanding.

I did a trade with Adam for 15 Pitangatuba seeds and instead I got 27 Pitangatuba seeds!

I am happy to say I am now a proud owner of Pitangatuba, one has already sprouted a stem, and all the rest have vigorous roots.

when I can give out extras I will do it!  Sometimes I can be extra generous...but sometimes I only have just enough seeds to fill an order!

pleasure trading with you!  I still have tons of your cherimoya seeds to plant.

thank you Val!!

the peaches you gave me were some of the best I've tasted!  I wonder what type they were?

good luck with your new Garcinia!  It looked like it was ready to put on some new leaves...they only seem to flush about 3-4 times a year at the most...so it's kind of exciting for me, when I see new leaves emerging.

Tropic beauty I think. There might have been a tropic snow in the batch. I really slacked on the thinning this year.

Easy to distinguish Tropic Beauty from Tropic Snow...Tropic Snow is white fleshed.

cherimoya is a versatile rootstock...should work for most of the common stuff, with few exceptions.

most of the time they are about 1/4 inch thick, and 5-8 inch long.

but size can vary, depending on time of year, and the species being requested.

If you request larger or smaller scions, I can usually provide whatever size you need.
