I have some fresh Rollinia sylvatica seeds, $2 each.  (if you buy more than 5 seeds, I will give you a better deal)

easy to grow, pretty tree, small fruits, not really worth eating in my opinion... could be valuable for breeding or cold tolerant rootstock?

any how, its a tree for collectors or breeders.

I believe it could be used as rootstock for Rollinia deliciosa, although I've not tried...it'd definitely much more cold tolerant..seems to withstand about 3-5 deg F, more cold....maybe more.

also I believe Cheirmoya is compatible with Biriba (R. deliciosa)...

also interesting would be the potential for hybridization...maybe make a more cold tolerant Rollinia hybrid?  (i just don't know if this is possible, but seems like it could be)

I'm not too optimistic regarding cherimoya / r. deliciosa (biribá) compatibility.

My graft is still alive, but the initial growth spurt has stalled. The scions look healthy but
do not seem to be growing much...

Maybe, cherimoya has a dwarfing effect on R. deliciosa???

I'd heard before that rollinia and cherimoya are not compatible. But let us know what happens to your graft? Thanks.

yes I wouldn't doubt it!

I've never tried using cherimoya as rootstock for rollinia, but I remember hearing someone say they had success (at least with short term compatibility)

LOL ....all the more reason to buy my seeds and try them as rootstocks....maybe they are better than cherimoya? (lol maybe they are worse?   ??? :P)

Got some seeds of a mini avocado cultivar, called "Del Rio Big"...funny because the fruits are small.

the taste is not bad...and the tree is precocious (not too tall either) fruited in about 4 yrs from seed.  Grows true to seed....the seeds are quite small, about the size of a golf ball.

have a small amount of seeds to sell for $2 each.

here is a pic of a full sized fruit.

Mohd,

honestly that would be a crowded planting!

but you could pull it off i suppose..with lots of pruning...and although u might not get large crops off both trees, you could have more variety in a confined growing area.

I guess it depends on your strategy, but anything is possible...especially if you are willing to sacrifice fruit productivity, for increased variety.

sorry no green sap seeds now!  not sure when...my tree is not flowering now, and I sold one of my large trees...I will have scions soon, before November.

I have a lone amazon tree grape...about 1.5 yr old now?  about 6ft tall, in a 3 gal root pruner pot, very healthy...

u need male and female plants and the tree can get large, so this is not a challenge for all growers.

(sorry can't ship, unless I cut the tree in half, which might be possible?...would prefer local pick up)

cost is $40.
