I have a wampee seedling and I swear it looks just like curry leaf.  I wonder if they are related.

The wampee tree leafs are look like that.  Even the mature tree looks the same, only bigger.

Yes they are in one family (including Citrus) - Rutaceae. There is another wampee (Clausena) species - C..excavata. It’s leaves are so aromatic, that I prefer to use them instead of Murraya (curry plant).

Rutaceae has a lot of different plants... but wampee seedling vs curry leaf is indistinguishable to me.  Here's wampee seedling on bottom and curry leaf clone on top.

Those both look like curry leaf. Wampee leaf structure is different. You can be sure if you run the leaves and they smell similar. Wampee leaves don't smell strongly

It's possible it was mislabeled.  I got about twenty seedlings from the same seller and the rest all look correct.  Once it has a bit more growth I will try a leaf crush test.
