They are in season here now and there are dozens of varieties of all shapes, sizes and textures but only a few have names.

Well I am just growing this variety from Dr. Coronel, he said that this is a good variety, and it is. I also think frankies nursery in Hawaii is selling this variety too.

Nice! Saludo is the only variety I grow for now. Got a nice cheap deal on one a couple weeks ago, been growing it in the greenhouse since. I sure hope to enjoy the fruit soon.

Hard to get size perspective when bananas are used for their comparative size.  How much does this cultivar's fruit weigh?

This fruit weighed at 500 grams, we have bigger fruits weighed at 1 kilo.  Also, the shape of the fruits differ depending on the size.

Very nice, I'm alwasy looking for the most productive and best tasting canistel cultivar. Right now I'm waiting for my 'Oro' canistel to mature and produce fruit.
