Anyone Growing Mama Cadela
« on: September 16, 2020, 02:28:05 PM »
I ran across an old post dated 2012 and was wondering if anyone is
growing it today. Would also like to know how many years to fruit.

I have one potted plant about 1 ft high- compared to other Brosimum I have it is sensitive to overwatering. Free soil planting may be better way for it.

They are definitely slow growers. I planted the seeds
in December, 2017. Finally made them happy and turning green this year.

IM not sure about soil requirements. It is from Cerrado region so can be tricky for cultivation.
