I just saw your post. Adam grafted two when he was here one for him one for me. I have about twenty seedlings to graft as soon as I can get to them. That tree is starting to flower. I will post pictures of the fruit

Hi Mike and Adam, would love to get a grafted sapodilla when you have the chance to graft some more. Thanks,

The sapodilla still looks good Mike...

my other grafts look like they might fail!

I wonder what else took that I grafted that day?  I keep thinking about that Kapok tree that guy made me graft!

I can wrap it in parafilm if you think that would help.

Yes ofcourse that helps. I think it would probably last 3 days in transit?

Suggest putting them in a zip lock bag with slightly moistened vermiculite, wrap tightly and held together with rubber bands..

Mike,
How is your caimito graft holding up that I did?  Mine defoliated, but might survive.

The variegated sapodilla looks good still...and the inverted canistel defoliated, but might survive...

why have I never seen a variegated Surinam Cherry?  Has anyone ever seen one?  It's such a common plant, you'd think it would be easy to find?

I think I had one that showed signs of being variegated but after a few years it went away(wasnt as into grafting back then). I also have(had) varigated noni, and I still have a variegated Luma species. Its really pretty. I dont particularly look for ornamental characteristics, but in the past (middle school) one of the branches on my wall of roses was variegated. I was really interested in it and wanted to propagate it but when they pruned the tree back the cut it all off. I might have some others but the Luma is the coolest looking and rarest. That variegated Sapodilla looks really cool!

The other day I saw some variegated dragon fruit at this site: http://kadasgarden.com/Sp.Hylocereus-undatus.html
They have some of them for at around 15 dolars.
Some really pretty colors but they state that it grows more slowly.
