First Sapodilla Flowers
« on: May 27, 2018, 02:58:21 PM »
Pretty excited to see my Alano Sapodilla starting to flower here in South Florida.  Seems a bit late in the season for its first flowers. Hopefully in a couple weeks or months I’ll have some fruit.

Since May15th I have gotten 11 1/2" of rain and it's raining now.
The trees are loving it. I see sapodillas and especially sugar apples with
small fruit finally setting.

Here in CR they are also flowering, have been for about a month.  Slow with patience seems the way with these fruits, but worth it.
