Feijoa with iron nails in the pot
« on: October 11, 2019, 03:27:33 AM »
I just moved the 2 feijoas grown from seed into a bigger pot at forum members insistences so that i can move them in the greenhouse when it gets too cold for them.
Initially i planned to keep them outdoor in the ground.
These are the severely chlorotic plants that i treated by mixing iron nails into the potting soil and i also watered with pyroligneous/ hummic acid ,water solution.
The soil in the bigger pot has 30 % biochar( 50-50 charcoal and manure from rotten weeds) ,30% sand and 40% black clay soil.
