2nd New Video By Dan Wiley This One On HLB
« on: September 15, 2019, 02:34:21 PM »
This new video by Dan Wiley concerns how HLB (Citrus Greening) is spread so fast.  This is an excellent video which explains the spreading systems clearly.

I posted treatments in the comments there are treatments i live in citrus area of florida and had four trees with greening HLB and used these treatments to recover my trees as florida budwood will not sell to homeowners (a joke) but one is an application for a patent the other two i use to treat HLB and it works contrary to what was said in that video.

Dlhvac, time will tell if your treatment actually works. A good nutrition program looks like it works, but actually only for a short period.

Hi Millet,

Thank you for posting the video. If there were a treatment that really worked, it would be widely used in Florida. There are some promising new treatments in the works, but it will take a long time to develop them, see if they actually work, and obtain regulatory approval for them to be used in the field.

I am not sure that Florida is taking the right approach with its budwood program. I do not think banning the sale of certified budwood to homeowners solves their problem.

Best regards,
Dan

Breakthrough made in citrus greening research
https://www.theledger.com/news/20190916/breakthrough-made-in-citrus-greening-research
hi it has been two years since I have treated my trees don’t know how long it lasts b cause it is inexpensive to do so I do it every month and the reason Florida doesn’t do it it is not approved for commercial citrus but I have used it on my trees with no problems
