Very nice Ethan. I need a lisa.
I have over 15 seedlings to play around with next year.
Here are a couple more for you guys, I dont think these will surprise you though.Cherilata (A. cherimola x A. reticulata)and sugar apple (A. squamosa)Hopefully this year I'll be able to graft up a bunch of different annona sp. and relatives onto cherimoya root stock so stay tuned.
J, the reticulata scions you gave me, are already pushing. FYI.
Remember that the new word "Cherilata" is intended for hybrids produced by cross-pollination: a cherimoya flower receiving pollen from an Annona reticulata, producing seeds which produce plants that are then called "Cherilata."This word does not apply to an Annona reticulata grafted onto an Annona cherimola.

So what would happen if I pollinate a cherimoya flower with Ilama pollen and they set fruits? Would the seeds of these fruits produce plants that would be call cherilama?
The cherilata scion wood came from a gent who is sure it is cherimola x reticulata, possibly Zill's 75-9? It is grafted onto a Dr. White cherimola seedling. What would you call a squamosa x cherimola x reticulata? I have one on my radar but have yet to collect it.Interesting Mark, I know Phet Pakchong and Nuathong are (squamosa x cherimola) x squamosa. I wonder if those would still be called atemoya or if they are even something else?Oscar, hopefully JF and I can make a breakthrough with rollinia grafting, who knows? I also plan to try Uvaria.
