We figured it was time to plant out a 45 gallon Pantin Mamey as a hurricane prep! It even has a few small fruit on it! Hurricane Schmuricane!
Seriously though...Harry and you guys down there doing anything special to protect things? Or just hoping for the best? Good luck to all.

Nice Mamey. During a strong storm, will the rope "girdle" the tree? I removed my weedwacker guards for fear that the hurricane would cause the guards to girdle the trees.

Girdling usually takes a bit longer to happen.

I have moved my delicate potted plants & few orchids to the garage and have secured vulnerable branches on my big trees with nylon strapping.
