Papaya tree nursery has it for sure. I think even Home Depot and Lowes sometimes have it. Not sure about other nurseries.
Thank you!

The last Maha on tree total 63. Long run from first week of August to November
Harvest moon mutant on top

63?! Holy cow!! How big is your tree?

Black Madeira is number 1 for a lot of people. Once you taste one youíll understand why. Strong berry like flavor that lingers.
Black Madeira is a very slow grower, if your able to obtain a bmkk ďkkĒ strand of the variety it is known to be a more vigorous grower.

Figo preto and I-258 are very similar to black Madeira, some canít tell a difference.
If I were you I would opt for either a Preto or I-258 as they are  much healthier and grow faster. I-258 being the healthiest of the bunch.

Another great fig to consider is a strawberry verte.

Mango count down has begun.....20 some left. Maha is extremely good, as always, and a prolific mango for us in North Orange County.

What a beautiful site to see! The Fruits of your labor has truely paid off.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Room for 1 more avocado tree

I grow all of those in my yard except for GEM. To complement a Reed, I would go with Hass. I'm in San Diego County, and between my Reed and Hass I can eat good avocados the entire year.

Why not Lamb Hass? Because it's season is almost the same as Reed.

Why not Fuerte? Because it isn't as productive as Hass in my yard, and I know this is common for many other people too, even though the fruit is my favorite of all the avocados I've tasted.

Why not Sir-Prize? Because like the Fuerte, it isn't as productive as the Hass in my yard.

Hope this gives you some ideas for your yard.

Greg
Thank very much for the recommendation!
I had narrowed it down to hass and sir prize. I was hoping that since the sir prize is a B type variety that it would give off a better crop having both A and B types.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to probably end up picking up a hass then.
Thanks
