Hello, I am representing a group of fruit growers/collectors from New Zealand, we are interested in buying some Jaboticaba and Eugenia seeds. For the seeds to enter New Zealand they would need a phytosanitary certificate with specific declarations - either that the seeds are sourced from a country free of Austropuccinia (myrtle Rust), or the seeds need to be sprayed. Is this something you are able to provide?

We would probably do a smaller order first to build up the trust and ensure they arrive through our customs safely. If the ordering goes well, we could do more frequently.

We are also on the lookout for seeds that are much easier to import as they do not require any certs or treatments, such as Pouteria,  Annona, Artocarpus.

We are motivated collectors and we would love to hear from you.

thanks, I know John, unfortunately he doesn’t have this one.

Also recently heard there's a close black sapote relative that's cold hardy. Is it these guys or another diospyros species? Interested in that if they are different.

I’d love to know more about this if you happen to find out.

The one I’m looking for is the Tsuru Noro. Keen if anyone would know a contact for seed?

My seeds arrived in great condition thanks.  Very well packed for international travel and even got some extra.

Great seller.

Me too, any leads yet?

Would love some tips on anyone that sells seed and will ship internationally?  I know with COVID it’s become an issue for some and/or shipping costs have gone through the roof.

I am looking for chocolate and coffee cake persimmon seed (not Diospyros nigra)

Any hints on who sells them?

Thank you

9
Do you currently have any Nangka mini seeds available?

10
Any luck finding Vasconcellea stipulata seeds?
Where did you get them from?
Yes I have them. Didn't plant them yet.

11
I would also love some seed if anyone has this?

Does anyone have seeds to the Nangka Mini/Dwarf Jackfruit? I really is a remarkable plant and mine bloomed in 1 1/2 years from seed. I had a couple growing and fruiting but a landscape contractor destroyed them.

Thanks

Ray

Thanks for that info.

Will post a pic asap, we are at the end of winter right now and the cuttings I have don't have leaves right now.

never heard anything like that from Carica species.

Carica is in the same family with nasturtium, mustard, caper, and Moringa
so, there are some strange chemicals.

maybe in Jarilla, or Jacaratia ... there are some fruiting plants there
related to Payaya.

a pic of the leaves/plant might help ?

Hello I'm a new member, from New Zealand.  I'm in my 3rd year of collecting sub tropical fruit plants.

I was recently given a cutting of a papaya 'type' plant.  Looked similar to a mountain papaya/Babaco

The owner doesn't know the name of it, but he told me that when you eat the fruit it changes your perception of taste.  I'm aware of the miracle fruit doing this with sour tastes, but I've never heard of any other fruit doing this.

Can anyone shed some light on this?
