Tropical Fruit Discussion / Annona graft pushing only flower buds after 2 months

I grafted Sabor onto cherimoya rootstock a little over 2 months ago.  No new leaves, but about 10 or so flower buds have emerged.

First time I've seen this, so wanted to know if this is common.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Pitanga/pitangatuba spacing for hedges

I'd like to start a couple of privacy hedges, one with pitanga and the the other with pitangatuba.   I've read the pitanga spacing should be 3 to 5 ft.  Can anyone comment on the ideal spacing for each and how to best force the lateral growth habit?

Not sure if it's too late in the season to graft but want to give it a shot anyways.

Looking for Na Dai and/or Big Red sugar apple scions, along with white and/or Genova Red ilama scions. 


I'm in Southern CA (Cypress) but willing to deal with shipping/traveling.
