This picture was taken in Summit Botanical Garden. I looked and found not a single mention in Google to this fruit tree... so I thought or the name is wrong or this is one of the rarest fruit trees in the world.
After my failure in Google I went to the old way, an excellent reference book I have in my library: TREES OF PANAMA AND COSTA RICA (Princeton Filed Guides), where the trees are organized by families. No mention either to this Cynodendrum, but voilá!! there is a CAIMITO DE MONO, that is Chrysophyllum argenteum AND THERE IS A Chrysophyllum argenteum ssp. panamense!! And I even found the photo used in the sign!!
May be I can get a job at the Botanical Garden?
ANYONE HAS SEEDS?
