No, only produces in summer. Taste is not similar to Jabuticaba, 100% not acidic, when in the perfect point... a perfect fruit!

You will find the ripe fruits in the soil only. The ripe fruits fall from the trees!

Flavor is bland, slightly sweet, but if you add it to an orange juice, it will change its color to red, without change its flavor, and pack it with anti-oxidants!

RodneyS, this is Carlos Açai, I gathered the seeds of this very productive variety in the Amazon Jungle long time ago.
BMc, you dont need glasses, the turtle is not giant at all LOL
Radoslav, yes I can get as many of that variety as you want, just PM. I have a few hundred seedlings growing.

Pomegranates are not true to type, so if you plant seeds of a black one you probably will not get a black one

Well, not exactly a harvest, we have a HUGE HORRIBLE T STORM here, and some of the acai palms in my garden felt down. I am glad they felt in the only stop where they didn’t destroyed anything, almost a miracle!! If the palms felt in straight line they could destroy my veranda, or some storage rooms full of books, or the neighbour house!!
We will eat a lot of heart of palms and acai!!
