You did a good deed Behl. Group orders are a good idea! For those of you that live close to each other, can i suggest continuing in Behl's footsteps? You could do similarly for pots, potting medium, fertilizers, tools, etc. These are always much cheaper when bought in bulk. All you need is one member with a semi-empty garage that can hold the items until picked up....Just an idea. This might also help you all to socialize more in person. You could even make the pick up day an informal party.

1. Go to Paypal and send me $23. Make sure you dont select "goods and services".  Select "I'm sending money to family or friends"   I am getting short changed here and there because Paypal charges fees for commercial transcation.
2. Make sure when you send money, you specify your mailing address.

Tape arrived yesterday and will go out today!

Seriously, without trying to sell buddy tape...I know for a fact that these grafts would NOT have the same high success rates with parafilm...the difference is ridiculous.

Amen to success of Buddy Tape!  ZERO cracks! With hot baking sun of california highs of 90's and then overnight dipping into low 50's, Parafilm does not have what is needed for extreme temps.

I talked to a professional who said that Parafilm M although used by some for grafting is not meant for grafting at all. That's why they came up with New Grafting tape now, it may be a better choice than Parafilm M for sure. as good as buddy tape? NAH!

I just got a roll of this tape. Any pointer? Now I wrap the tip of the bud wood with parafilm, make my cuts and wrap with the clear plastic. How you guys using this do veneer grafting?

The tape can be manipulated and twisted into a tight rope like fashion, so you don't need to have anything but buddy tape.  You can wrap the union and the scion with the same piece of tape, but you must alternate your method of wrapping at some point.
