I had to chop my Florida "watercado" (boo hoo) it got so big it broke under the weight of the severely thinned fruit and broke my Geffner. I and my neighbors and co-workers will miss it. On the bright side it made a LOT of firewood for my chiminea :-)

I'm hoping to find one to replace it that won't get to 40' tall! I envy you :-)

Regards,

gnappi,
try wurtz dwarf.  sometimes sold as "little cado."  low growing, weeping growth habit.  a big one might get twelve or sixteen feet.  cold hardy down to the low twenties.

I have seen a number of Wurtz growing in SFla  and i would not say they are weepy low growing nor are they true dwarf.  They are one of the smaller sized trees however an unpruned tree will hit the 15foot mark as a norm over time.  For a c ado, thays not bad.  Florida Hass will also stay on the smaller side c and is a slower grower.
